English Language and Computer Learning Center (ELCLC) MIS On 19-Sep-2018 Impact Organization entered into a contract on developing an integrated Center management System for nine universities and 11 centers in nine provinces of the country. The system serves multipurpose including, the student management, the center administration, the asset, the finance, education program, financial management of the teachers, and center staff. Here are some of the main features of the MIS:a. Student profile with his/her photo, personal details, course(s) enrolled, results, performance, and notice board. b. Student’s daily attendance c. Providing access to IO staff to use the database and get report d. Classes information e. Teacher profile with his/her photo, personal details, subjects, daily topics, and notice board. f. Teacher/Staff attendance system. g. Payroll system based on teacher/staff attendance. h. Expense management system with the ability to request budget and approval. i. Student enrollment in each course. j. A notice board in each user (student/teacher/staff) profile to see the latest announcements from center or organization office. k. Inventory management system to keep track of all center and organization assets. l. To generate certificate for trainees when they graduate.

GDG Kabul was started in March 2018 and since then they have organized many events, workshops and programs for Afghan developers in all over the country. ELCLCs help Afghan university students and faculty improve their English proficiency through open-access and instructor-led courses using the latest off-the-shelf and tailored software, curricula, and web-based resources. The centers also help advance computer competencies for university students and staff through their computer training courses. There are currently eleven ELCLCs at 9 universities across Afghanistan.
